We loved this incredibly beautiful place and its incredible location. Location: the hotel was close to a mountain and the penguins. Tried some takeout specials at Salty Sea Dog, luckily it was at walking distance from the venue. We had very relaxing 2 days here, can recommend: )

Loved the private balcony with sea views, even though I didn't spot any whales. Protea Point was very well decorated, thanks for the impressive finishes. Breakfast made by an ex-Royal Marine chef was a treat. Free Wi-Fi was handy, although I had better things to do than browse the internet. Cons: Shame I couldn't bring my own penguin to swim with the local colony.

Loved the location of the hotel, very close to a popular tourist attraction and some great hiking trails. The breakfast served was also very fresh and tasty. The views from the balcony were stunning.
The room was not very clean, and the bedding had stains on it. We also had some trouble with the wifi connection, it was very slow and kept disconnecting.

The decoration at this lovely hotel was beautifully done, with a charming mix of traditional and modern elements. The cozy sitting areas were perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea while admiring the stunning views over False Bay. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility features throughout the hotel, including ramps and handrails, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay for guests of all ages.
Perhaps the only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people is a dedicated staff member to assist with any specific needs or requests. It would have been nice to have someone who understands the unique concerns that older guests may have and can provide personalized assistance during their stay.

The hotel could improve parking spots as it can get crowded when it's fully booked.
